Join us this Sunday, September 27 from 1-2 pm for our first Zoom 4th 4 All!
In case you’ve missed it, 4th 4 All is our cross generational Sunday morning class that looks at one reading from that morning’s worship in fun, cooperative ways. The lesson for this week is Philippians 2:1-13 (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians+2%3A1-13&version=NRSV ). You’ll need a phone, laptop, or tablet with an internet connection, your Bible and maybe a printer and materials easily found around the house for the activity you choose when we break into small groups. Send an email to gift@relc.org to get the Zoom code. Please keep in mind this is our first online class and be patient with us and the technology. The choices for this month are:
Draw It
Material found at home: paper (construction paper or printer paper is fine with legal size copy paper even better), colored pencils, crayons or markers.
- Watch this short video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3jW4Oekrcs about triptychs. Then, fold your paper into three sections (you can have all three the same size if you prefer).
- Use 1 panel at a time to illustrate Philippians 2:6-11 with word or pictures.
Research It
Work with your team to make a list of the names of Jesus (verse 10).
Pray It
Using as few words as possible, work together to rewrite Philippians 2:1-13 as a short prayer. Try the verses in The Message, a more conversational translation: https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians%202%3A1-13&version=MSG
Color It
Print at home and color either or both:

Play It –
‘….be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.’ (Phil2:2) as you play a Zoom version of the group game Pictionary with your group using the words for people, places, or things from the verses Philippians 2:1-13.
